The Hub will use CCU Innovation Centre Demonstrator Facility building on the successful SUSTAIN and Flue2Chem consortia to provide to provide access to captured, purified CO2 from real flue gas emissions for the UK research community. This will allowing new conversion technologies to be validated against industrial gas. Building on the work from UKRI-funded projects, we will demonstrate innovative solid phase carbon capture from point sources such as industrial plants (paper mills, waste combustion) and from direct air capture (DAC).
